Indenture of lease, upon surrender of the foregoing lease, by the Provost and the College to James Varie of Eton, gentleman, of the Ball at Holborn Cross in the parish of St Sepulchre's without Newgate, and another piece of ground adjoining with an old house built thereon between the Lamb on the south and Cokkyslane [Cock Lane] on the north. From Michaelmas last for 40 years. Rent of 40s.
