The Ball, Holborn, London: Counterpart lease of tenements formerly The Ball

Counterpart of indenture of lease, by the Provost and the College, to Richard Hill, of Snow Hill, in the city of London, wax chandler, of six messuages formerly known as the Ball at Holborn Cross, containing 88 feet on the north where they are bound by Cock Lane, 49 feet six inches on the west where they are bounded by Snow Hill, 38 feet on the east where they are bounded by a stable yard now belonging to the Saracen's Head, and on the south where they are bounded by Haberdashers' almshouses 32 feet 9 inches and where they are bounded by a tenement in the occupation of Mr Fenwick 57 feet 9 inches; and now marked with the numbers 64, 65 and 66 on Snow Hill and 1, 2 and 3 Cock Lane, of which no. 64 is now in the occupation of Mr Samuel Stephens, nos. 65 and 66 and 1 are occupied as one house, by the said Richard Hill and nos. 2 and 3 have lately been converted by him into warehouses. From Michaelmas last for 40 years. Rent £110.
