Counterpart of Indenture of lease, for £750 and the surrender of the foregoing lease, by the Provost and the College, to Mark Gregory, of Wax Chandlers' Hall in the city of London, gentleman and William Bromett, of the Horse Guards Barracks, co. Middlesex, doctor of physic, of six messuages formerly known as the Ball at Holborn Cross, names of occupiers given. Nos 1, 2 and 3 in Cock lane are now used as a tin ware manufactory (a plan is said to be annexed, missing). From Michaelmas last for 21 years. Rent £110, together with £17 8s in consideration of the redemption of Land Tax.
