Indenture of lease, upon surrender of a lease to Giles Earle, of Hendon, esquire by the Provost and College to Sir Thomas Allen, of Finchley, co. Middlesex, knight, of all their lordship or lordships, lands, tenements, meadows, pastures, feedings, woods, underwoods, timber, threes, hedgerows, groves, bushes and all other hereditaments called Chalcott and Wild alias Chalcotts and Wilds, with all their appurtenances in the parishes of Hampstead, Kentish Town, Marylebone, Hendon and Finchley, co. Middlesex. From old Lady day last for 20 years. Rent £24 8s 10d and 1026 gallons of wheat and 2160 gallons of malt and the value of 40 wether sheep each carcase weighing 44 lbs.
