Counterpart of indenture of lease, for £2500 and the surrender of a lease to Margaret Earle by the Provost and College to William Meyrich and Charles Bowyer of the lordship etc. (described as manor on endorsement) of Chalcots containing 212 acres 1 rood 30 perches with certain reservations (references to a map). From old Lady Day last for 20 years. Rent £9 15s 6d and 410 gallons of wheat and 864 gallons of malt and the value of 16 wether sheep and £35 4s in consideration of the redemption of Land Tax. Includes map.
