Draft of indenture of lease, by master Henry Bost, Provost of Eton and Master of the hospital of St James, and the College, to George Gray, knight, earl of Kent, and Katherine, his wife, of the great house of the said Hospital, called 'le greteplace' and a stable with a room over it, and a garden and a great close called 'a grete orchard'. For 21 years from 24 June last. Rent £6 6s 8d. The premises had been held by Edward late earl of Kent, father of the said George.
