London and the suburbs: Indenture of assignment of lease of tenement

Indenture of assignment, by Richard Andrew, citizen and merchant tailor of London, to Richard Younge, citizen and haberdasher of the same, of a lease he holds dated 1 July 1614, from the master, wardens and keepers of the commonalty of freemen of the mystery of Cowpers of London of a messuage or tenement being late part of the great messuage called the sign of the Swann, late in the occupation of one John Burton, citizen and grocer of London, deceased, and now of the said Richard Andrew, being in Bassingshaw in the parish of St Michael's in Bassingshaw, for 29 years, for a rent of £4 6s 8d. To hold the said lease for the residue of the term.
