St Botolph's, Aldersgate, London: Letters patent granting tenements

Letters Patent, granting, with the authority of Parliament, to the Provost and College of Eton a rent of £20 from the alien priory of Stogursey, co. Somerset, by the hands of the farmers thereof, which was held by John Chyvall, esquire, for life, with reversion to the Provost and College; a house and four shops adjacent in the suburbs of London in the parish of St Botolph in Aldersgate Ward, parcel of the alien priory of Ogbourne, which was held by Gilbert Par, esquire, Usher of the Chamber, and Agnes, his wife, for their lives in survivorship, with reversion to the Provost and College; 50 marks yearly by the hands of the abbot and convent of St Alban's, which was held by Eleanor and Edward Hall by Letters Patent of 20 February 1442, the reversion thereof being granted to the Provost and College by Letters Patent of 24 November 1445; and 10d a week from the manor of Langley Marreys, co. Bucks, which was held by John Eyston for life, with reversion to the Provost and College.
