Content description
Letters Patent, granting with the authority of Parliament, to the Provost and College the house and four shops in Aldergate ward. As there was no record by which it was possible to establish that the premises had ever been parcels of the priory of Ogbourne the grantees had surrendered their former Letters Patent into the Chancery to be cancelled with a view to obtaining there more valid Letters Patent.
Enrolled on the King's Remembrancer's Memoranda Roll Michaelmas 38 Henry VI (1459).
