Ellingham, Hampshire: Report on rent owing

Report from George Taylor, dated at the parsonage of Ellingham.
"I did then shew unto Mr Essex, the under tenant to the ladie Riche, that I had authoritie from the College of Eaton to seaze uppon the parsonage in the righte of the College, the lease beinge forfeited according to law, for arreares of rent divers yeres unpayed. But Mr Essex promisinge satisfaction to be made to the College within sixe weeke I did forbeare to doe aniething till then.
The next place I forbid the tenant to paie anie more rent to the Ladie till the College be payd.
I am told that the parsonage has bine lett for £100 per annum but the tenant tells me he paies but £80 per annum and he sayes be owes no rent till Ladie Day.
There is about 10 acres and a halfe of meadow ground and a matter (of) 11 or 12 acres of arable. The parsonage howse quite downe. And not a tree worth speaking of.
Item, for horshire and expenses for 6 dayes - 36s."
