John Derby, Fordingbridge, to Rev. Dr Cooke, at Denham, Bucks, thanking the College for £25, and inter alia, confidentially informing the College that its lessee at Ellingham, Dr Plumptree, has lately been offered £30 a year more than he receives from his tenant, of which he will avail himself when the tenant's lease expires. Here will be a good opening for the College to increase its fine.
