Grant by Richard the Butler, with the advice of Mary his wife and of his heirs, to the hermitage of St Leonard on the Loddon of the land which is called Kenewrthesland with all the meadow which is between Withemere and Kenewrthesland and up to the extreme corner of Withemere, and one acre of pasture which lies between Withemere and Mucheleburie according to the division made by the dike. To be held free from all service and custom and even from the service of the King, saving the benefits of the church of Stredfeld [Stratfield], paying yearly two pounds of wax or 6d. The brothers in the name of charity have given the grantor 30s. And confirmation of the other charter the brothers have, concerning Cheftewiche and an acre in Goseflode.
