Grant by Peter Blund with the assent of his heir, to Saint Leonard on the Loddon and the brothers there, for the souls of his relations and himself, and because, with God's will, he has chosen that place for his burial, of all his land of Aisshurst which is situated between the spring which is called Pila and the public road between Winchester and Reading. And grant of the tithes of his mills of Sciperigg' [Sheepbridge mill, Swallowfield] and Hardewike, and of Patesden and Abbingeswurde of which two vills he has the moiety. And grant of the moiety of the church of the said two vills of Patesden and Abbingeswurde, also tithes of bread, flesh and fish in his house wherever he shall be residing. Roger, a monk there, has granted that in addition to the two monks usually there a third is to be added who shall celebrate divine service for the souls of his father Humfrey Blund, his mother Clarice de Baalum, and his parents and ancestors, and for his own salvation and that of his wife, and sons and daughters.
