Indenture of lease by brother Peter Guysyer, keeper of the hermitage of St Leonard of Stratfield Saye, to Walter atte Mor, of the parish of Berwefeld [Burghfield], of a piece of arable land lying in the vill of Hertleye [Hartley in Shinfield] in a certain piece of land (puddello) called "le Bacheleres puddel", which extends at the west end to the meadow of John le Loundres and at the east to a meadow called le Eldemed. To hold till next Michaelmas and thereafter for 20 years. Rent 12d.
Witnesses: William Folk, Edward Wortyng, Richard atte Stonyford, John le Pyther, Walter atte Mor and many others.
