Content description
Counterpart of indenture of lease, by the Provost and the College to Samuel Lesingham, of all the woods on the priory lands, except for the trees on the mill heise and the chapple heyse, and 120 trees on the premises which are marked. From Michaelmas last for 20 years. The lessee to leave at the end of the term 200 young oaks for timber towards the supply of cart boot plowe boot paleboote and the building of the farm house of the priory.
Twelve standers to be left, at every felling, to be marked by the lessors, at the coppice. Yearly rent £3 6s 8d.
