Indenture of lease, by the Provost and College, for £1400, to Richard Fortescue Sharkey, late of Dublin, esquire, barrister at law, now residing at Tours in France, the acting trustee of the marriage settlement of Thomas Armstrong, esquire, and Mary Elizabeth nee Bever, of the site of the Priory or parsonage of Stratfield Mortimer, co. Berks, together with a close called Worthine and a tenement a croft and a little pittel at the north east part of the said Worthine and a close called the Great Moncke. The advowson of the vicarage reserved to the college. From Michaelmas last for 10 years. Rent 40s 4d and 110 gallons 1 quart of wheat and 140 gallons of malt and 21 wether sheep, together with £33 3s 4d in consideration of the redemption of land tax.
