Indenture of mortgage for £400, by Mary Heywood, widow, to Thomas Walford, of Hooknorton, co. Oxford, of the messuage or tenement with barns etc, appurtaining in Little Tew; and all that piece of land lying in the fields of Little Tew at or near Pike meadow and Priory mead containing 25 acres 1 rood which at the inclosure of the common field was awarded to the said Mary in compensation for one yard land and commons bought by her from William Castel; and all that piece of land at or near Chalk furlong containing 26 acres 30 perches which at the inclosure was awarded her in compensation for one other yard land and commons bought by Samuel Wilmot, esquire, her late father, from Ralph Marshall and Eleanor, his wife. For 1000 years. If Mary Heywood pays £410 by 13 November next, the foregoing shall be void.
