Counterpart of lease, by the Provost and College to Nicholls Stephen Godson, of Hooknorton, farmer, of a newly erected cottage in Little Tew and 4 other cottages and 280 acres 1 rood 27 perches of land (with reservations). For 21 years. Rent £400 and £40 for every acre of pasture ploughed up without the special consent in writing of the lessors, except Plum Pudding piece containing 14 acres 2 roods 2 perches which may be converted into tillage.
