Indenture of lease, by Robert Forthe, doctor of law and a master of Chancery, to John Drylande, of Feversham, gentleman, for £20 of the Flache [Flach marsh in Luddenham, Oare and Faversham], containing 123 acres. From Lady day 1584 for 21 years. Rent £3 6s 8d. The lessor holds the premises from Eton College, which had leased them on 10 March 1567 to Hugh Gervas who on 10 August 1581 assigned his lease to the said Forthe.
Witnesses: Charles Tyrell, Michael Ansamer.
