Indenture of lease, by the Provost and Fellows, on surrender of a lease to David Turner, senior, and David Turner, of Fordwich, clerk, to the said David Turner, clerk, and Ann Turner, of the parish of St Johns in the isle of Thanet, widow, of the parsonage of Newington, with the marsh called the Flach lying in the parishes of Luddenham, Oare and Faversham, reserving to the grantors all woods and underwoods and the advowson of the vicarage of the church of Newington and the chapel of our Lady there otherwise called Robert Purcer’s chapel. From Lady day last for 20 years. Rent £16 17s 9d, 20 quarters of wheat and 7 quarters 1 bushel of malt.
