Counterpart of Indenture of lease, by the Provost and College to Mary Horne, of Boughton under the Blean, co. Kent, widow, and John Swinford, of Minster in the isle of Thanet, gentleman, of the parsonage of Newington, with the marsh called the Flach lying in the parishes of Luddenham, Oare and Faversham, reserving to the grantors all woods and underwoods and the advowson of the vicarage of the church of Newington and the chapel of our Lady there otherwise called Robert Purcer’s chapel. From Lady day last for 18 years. Rent £16 17s 9d and 1440 gallons of wheat and 513 gallons of malt, together with £28 in consideration of the redemption of land tax.
