Counterpart of lease, by the Provost and College, for £434 8s 9d to Mary Horne, of Boughton under Blean, co. Kent, widow, and John Swinford, of Minster in the isle of Thanet, gentleman, of the parsonage of Newington with all glebe lands, tithes, and profits appertaining, measuring 25 acres 2 roods 2 perches, reserving to the lessors all woods and underwoods and the advowson of the vicarage of Newington and the chapel of Our Lady there called Robert Purser’s chapel. From old Lady day last for 20 years. Rent £12 13s 3 ¾d and 1080 gallons of wheat and 384 gallons 3 quarts of malt and £19 16s in consideration of the redemption of land tax. Signatures of lessees.
