J. Brooks, 23 Janaury 1732/33, to Mr Alex Staples at his house in Windsor enclosing an account for his expenses in copying and delivering Declarations in Ejectment to occupants of Minster Lovell Rectory viz. of a cottage worth about 30s per annum in the possession of John Hewer alia Radbourne, one yard arable land of glebe in the possession of Messrs Brooks worth about £30 per annum and two pieces of meadow worth together about £7 per annum with a modus of £6 per annum issuing out of Lord Lovell's estate in the possession of Henry Heyling Peacock. Mr Peacock was said to be in the Fleet prison, but it was found that he had been discharged for there and he was not traced.
