Chattisham, Suffolk: Confirmation of grant of land

Confirmation by William son of Roger de Glowecestria [Gloucester] to Idonea, the prioress, and the nuns of the church of St Mary of Wikes [Wix] of all the land of the fee of the abbot of Albemarle [Aumale] in Chattesham [Chattisham] which his father Roger sold them for nine marks silver and quitclaim of a tenement and rent of 12d which his father retained for his life, viz 10d from William son of the smith of Chattesham and 2d from John de Wassebroc. The convent has paid one mark silver and received him and his wife and children and the souls of his father and mother into their fraternity and orisons.
