Quitclaim by John de Wassebroc, and abjuration, to the church of St Mary of Wikes [Wix]and Idonea, the prioress, and the nuns there, of all his right in the land of Alfred the carpenter in Chatesham [Chattisham], of which land he had impleaded them in the country of Suffolk by writ of the justice of the King. The nuns have received him into their fraternity and orisons and given him 15s for the expenses of his plea.
