Cottisford, Oxfordshire: Grant of virgate

Grant by Robert Albus of Codesfordia [Cottisford] to Bartholomew, his nephew, of Mixeburia [Mixbury], for his, homage and service of a virgate of land in Codesfordia with which Agnes, his (Robert's) sister, mother of the said Bartholomew, by his grant was endowed. To be held from him and his heirs by Bartholomew and his heirs descending from his wife Agnes for a yearly rent of 6d. The messuage pertaining to the said virgate is before his (Robert's) door on the water. Bartholomew has redeemed the said land by relief, as heir of the same. The rent of 6d is assigned to the monks of Bec for all service pertaining to the land.
