Lease by brother William de Sancto Vedasto, prior of Okebourn [Ogbourne] and proctor general of the abbot of Bec Hellewin [Bec Hellouin] in England to Edward Metteley and Margaret, his wife, of a tenement in Cotesford [Cottisford] called Barstenement with all its appurtenances, for their lives in survivorship. Rent a rose. St Neots.
Seal, pointed oval, originally about 50mm, red wax, on doubled tag. Damaged at sides and bottom. In an architectual recess, within elaborate Gothic ornament, the Virgin standing with the child in her arms.
