Counterpart of quitclaim for £575 by Valentine Walton, of Somersham, co. Hunts, esquire, and Fridiswide, his wife, relict and executrix of the will of George Austin, deceased, to the Provost and College, of the premises [the manor of Cottisford, with all its appurtenances in Cottisford and Fringford]. By his will George Austin had devised his lease (ECR 26 075) to the said Fridiswide. By indenture of 29 November 1650 the said Valentine Walton, then of Great Stoughton, co. Hunts leased the premises (otherwise described) to John Hart, of Chilton, co. Bucks, gentleman, from Lady day next for 9 years.
