Cottisford and Fringford, Oxfordshire: Indenture of lease of manor

Indenture of lease by the Provost and College to Edwards Rousby and John Kendall, for £1920 of the manor of Cottisford, with all its appurtenances in Cottisford and Fringford. The 50 acres allotted by the Enclosure Commissioners are reserved to the lessors. From old Michaelmas last for 20 years. Rent 1584 gallons of wheat and 459 gallons of malt, and £17 17s, together with £28 16s 3½d in consideration of the redemption of land tax.
Witnesses: James Baines, butler of Cottisford House, Thomas Rousby Kendall, of Towton Hall, gentleman. Signatures of lessees.
