J. King, to the Rev. Dr Cradock. "This morning Mr Andrews came to mee for my opinion upon one Mr Harte's will, being for that purpose directed unto mee by your kind letter, itt seemes by his disclosure, that his businesse is noe more than to procure the College to accepte of ye surrender of Cottesford [Cottisford] lease, upon an agreement for his renewing with you; and the doubt, as I find, arrises upon the intricate penning of Mr Harte's will, than which I have never found any thing more involved & absurdely penned..."
