Samuel Cooke, rector of Cottisford, Bookham near Leatherhead, to the bursar. Mr Hearn, of Buckingham, an attorney, and Mr Hopcroft, an agent of Mr Fermor's of Tusmere, have tried to obtain his signature to a petition to Parliament for powers to enclose the parish of Cottisford. He did not feel able to sign without consulting the Provost and Felllows, his patrons. Proposals about a corn rent.
