R. Greenhill, Lincoln's Inn, to [Mr Roberts].
"Mr Cooke having broken his engagements with my father respecting the inclosure... and having since for the first time made a new and unheard of demand, a portion of my father's old inclosures in kind (a seventh), not in value as before agreed upon but in kind, I wrote to him to say that my father could not give up one acre of the old inclosure all his inclosures being so compact no skirt lying contiguous to the Rector's closes could be taken off without making a chasm in them..."
