Copy of the Bill in the suit in Chancery, John Cope, of Cottesforde, esquire, plaintiff, against Sir Henry Savile, Knight, and the College of Eton, defendants, for the recovery of lands in Cottesforde [Cottisford], which his late father, Sir Anthony Cope, Knight and baronet, bequeathed to him by his last will, appointing his (eldest) son, Sir William Cope, Knight and baronet, to convey the same to him, to the clear yearly value of 1000 marks.
