Content description
Presentment of the constables of Everdon, Henry Faucer, John Hawkyns, Thomas Reve, John Keble, that Snoscombe is a hamlet in the parish of Everdon which contained 4 "meses" and 4 "plowes" in the 23rd year of Henry VII and was in the possession of Sir Richard Knyghtley, Knight. Three parts of the hamlet were enclosed time out of mind. The fourth part was enclosed by Sir Richard in the aforementioned year, whereby the said 4 meses are decayed and the plough land to the number of 200 acres converted to pasture to the value of £10. There are 24 people gone from the said hamlet and the said hamlet is held of the prince [prince erased]
