Indenture of lease, by the Provost and College to John Veare the younger, upon surrender of the lease of John Veare the elder, of the site of the manor of Blakenham on the water with all lands pertaining in Blakenham, Baylham and Claydon and elsewhere, co. Suffolk, with all rents, reversions, fishings, fowlings, hawkings and huntings belonging thereto, and a wood called Blakenham Hawle wood containing ten acres, the advowson of the benefice and the keeping of courts and profits therefrom being reserved to the lessors. From Michaelmas last for 21 years. Rent 24 quarters of malt and £14 10s.
