Survey of the manor of Great Blakenham made in the time of William Day, provost, and John Chamber and Alexander Bownde, bursars, by John Hollond, gentleman, both from an examination of Court Rolls and other evidences and from the testimony of certain of the tenants viz. John Veer, gentleman, Peter Sorrell, Nicholas Vincent, John Vincent, Richard Harlwyn, William Cooke, Henry Mudd, John Mudd, Henry Sorrell, Thomas Dowe and others; with a rental for the last year and an index in an italic hand.
A note on the flyleaf that the book was produced on 23 April 1708 in the Court of the Exchequer in a suit between the Provost and College of Eton, plaintiffs, and William Mott, junior, esquire, Mary Blewett, Edmund Coleman, George Kerridge, William Ward, Janes Fen and John Baker, defendants, and shown to Richard Pupplett, gentleman, upon his examination to the fifth and sixth interrogatories on the part of the plaintiffs.
