Indenture of lease, by the Provost and College, to John Duffeild, of Eweston, gentleman, of the manor of Estwrotham [East Wretham], except the advowson of the church, profits of courts etc, the unexpired lease to William Webb having been surrendered. From Lady day last for 21 years. Rent £20 5s 6d and 15 quarters 2 bushels of wheat and 20 quarters 2 bushels of malt, or their equivalent in money. Signature of lessee, “John Dowffylde”. Witnesses: John Clenche, Henry Saire.
