Copy of a letter from Robert Knopwood, farmer, Sturston, 1 June 1710, to Mr John Craske, town clerk, of St Edmundsbury and College lessee at East Wretham, giving particulars of the charge of stocking the College farm there, “But you are not sure that you shall enter upon the farme at Mich: for Sir Bass: has run from all his promises.” Advises that the College should buy Sir Bassingbourne’s estate.
