East Wretham, Norfolk: Letters concerning leases
File
23 May 1812 - 26 August 1812
8 letters, 15 folios
A file of letters from Fred. Geo. Syms, Parliament Street, to Edward Brown, esquire, solicitor, Windsor, the College registrar, asking for an abstract of the surrendered College leases of the East Wretham estate for the last 60 years, the same being now let to John Ingram Lockhart, esquire, as trustee for William Colhoun, esquire. His object is to prove a deduction of the title to Mr Colhoun (or Mr Lockhard). He wants also to see the title deeds relating to the living of the Creetings exchanged by Mr Colhoun for Wretham in 1789, and the Manor Rolls.
