Indenture of lease, by the Provost and College, upon the surrender of a lease to William Harryson, of Eton, clerk, to Nathaniel Smyth, one of the singing men of the College, of two messuages or tenements, with all cellars, sollers, and other appurtenances, in Eton, between a tenement of the College where William Dye, tailor, now dwells on the south and the Christopher on the north, together with a piece of ground or garden plot containing in length 42 feet and in breadth 34 feet lying on the west of the two messuages, and adjoining another tenement of the College called Jurdleys place on the east; also another piece of ground or garden plot adjoining the north side of Bawdwyns poole, the way and entrance lying between the Christopher and the said two tenements, together with the porch and entry leading to Jurdleis place as it is now used being reserved to the lessors. From Michaelmas last for 21 years. Rent 38s 4d.
