Notification by Anneys Awnger, sometime the wife of Robert Awnger, dwelling in Dytton, that she has sold to John Hovell the dowry part of all the land sometime pertaining to the said Robert Awnger. "And yn confirmacion of thys my doyng y have leyd myne hand on a booke and made myne othe".
Witnesses: master Richard Hopton, doctor of divinity, master William Strete, master John Marchall, master Robert Smyth, Richard Lovell, gentleman, David Selly, gentleman, Thomas Merser, Thomas Aleyn, Thomas Absalon.

A triangular piece of parchment, the lower pointed end slit into five tongues bearing red wax seals.
(1) On the central tongue that presumably of Anneys, rectangular, 13 x 10. ? M.
(2) Two one each of the other four tongues, fragmentary, only one surviving with am impression, round, about, 12mm. IHS.
