Indenture of grant by Bernard Saundirdon to Richard Cripse, of Hugele, of a croft called le Rydyng in Farnham between the land sometime of Hugh Berwyk on the east and that of John Crispe, of Fulmer, on the west, extending upon the King's way leading from Hugele to Wobourne on the south; also a marl pit called le Marledelle in Hugele between the King's way leading from Hugele to Wyndesor on the west and the land of the donor on the other sides. Rent 2s, and suit at the grantors court of Hugele.
Witnesses: John Fulmer, William Bulstrode, Richard Fulmer, Thomas Daye, John Prestwik, junior.

Endorsed that is shall be lawful for the grantor to enter the said pit and carry away marl and chalk as much as he wishes; and for the grantee to dig beyond the marl pit in the land of the grantor towards a croft called Nakercrofte for 40 feet.
