Content description
Grant by Richard, son of Richard Est, of New Windsor Underore, to John de Hurtle, for his service, of a tenement in New Windsor of the fee of the abbot of Reading, lying in Underore between a tenement sometime of Robert Kaye on one side and the King's way on the other in breadth and extending from the King's way to the tenement of Edith Randulf in length.
To hold in perpetuity from the chief lords of the fee for the services due.
Witnesses: John Godefray, Henry le White, Robert Gerald, John Est, John le Wayte, Adam le Rede, William Neel, clerk.
New Windsor.
Seal, round, 20mm, red wax, on doubled tag. Within a cusped circular border, Virgin and child, on the right a figure kneeling in prayer, a tree behind.
Attached to ECR 34 168.
