Grant by Thomas Smyth, of Dorney, John Brome and William Fraunceys to William Kynge of 11 crofts of arable with woods etc. appurtaining in the parish of Wynkefeld between the lands of William Geffrey and John Pulney on the north and the land of late of Richard att Hache on the south and abutting on the common called Ascotteplayne on the east and on the west on the lands of John Younge, Robert Montagewe and Newntons; and 2 acres of arable in the field called Northfeld of which three half acres lie together between the land of John Bartlette on the west and the land which Thomas Strettend holds in alms on the east, one head extending on the common meadow on the north and the other on the land of William Geffrey on the south, and the other half acre lies in the same field and is called Hedlond and lies between the land of Thomas Sayer on the east, extending at one head on the land of Thomas Sayer on the north and at the other head on the land of the said Sayer on the south. The grantor had the premises, together with Robert Sely, deceased, of the gift of Richard Stonhull, John Bowyer and Richard Gorynge.
Witnesses: Thomas Sayer, Ralph Kylby, Robert Bartlotte, John Montagewe, William Montagewe.

Two seals, red wax, on doubled tags. A third tag does not appear to have had a seal.

(2) Oval, 12 x 8mm, beneath a crown T.
