Copy of grant by William Thompson to John Scotte, of Dorney, esquire, son and heir of Thomas Scotte, late mayor of London, and Katherine, his wife, Andrew Bereman, now mayor of New Windsor, John Sheparde, of Dorney, carpenter, William Ingby, weaver, and Robert Rede, yeoman, of the premises which the grantor had of the gift of John Scotte.
Witnesses: Nicholas Puttenham, gentleman, Richard Playter, Thomas Egham, John Jurden, John Lorkyn.

Seal, round, 15mm, red wax, on doubled tag. Armorial, two swords crossed at right angles, a hilt in each of the top corners of the shield. The shield small and at an angle at the base of the seal, surmounted by a helmet. A legend.
