Copy of indenture between William Rous, esquire, one of the heirs of John Hundrecombe, esquire, son and heir to John Hundrecombe, Knight, that is to say, son of John Rous son of Elizabeth sister of the said John Hundrecombe, Knight, of one part, and George Skydmore and Richard Lovell, esquires, also cousins and heirs of the said John Hundrecombe, esquire, to wit the said George as son of Agnes and the said Richard as son of Margaret, they being other sisters of the said John Hundrecombe, Knight, of the other part, witnessing that the said John Hundrecombe, esquire, was seised in his demesne as of fee at the time of his death of the manor of Burnham called Hundrecombes with its appurtenances in cos. Bucks and Middlesex, and of divers lands and tenements in Burnham, Eton and Bekenesfeld with the advowsons of the churches of Eton and Bekenesfeld. And the said John Jundrecombe, esquire, and Margaret, his wife, were seised of the manor of Wanstede, with a the advowson of the church of Wanstede, and the manor of Hosedens with certain lands in Hosedens Dynes Caxton and Maplestede co. Essex, which the said Margaret now holds for her life with the third part of the manor of Burnham called Hundrecombes which she holds in dower, with reversion to the said William, George and Richard. Now George and Richard grant that William shall have the reversion of the manor of Wanstede, with the advowson of the church, and William grants that George and Richard shall have all the other manors, advowsons and lands.
