Bill made 16 June 1523 witnessing that Robert Frenche, of Glassenbury, has bargained and sold to Laurence Hanforde, of Bekynsffelde, his grove of wood standing in Helmet in Bekynsffelde for £4, whereof he has received 26s 8d the rest due at Christmas.
Seal, oval, about 20 x 17mm, on a turned over slit of paper. A device.
Endorsed with a note that "I Larons Hanforde hathe resevyed of the Bowserys of Eton thre pounds".
