Indenture of grant by Nicholas le Chaundeler and Margery, his wife, to Thomas Lovel, for his service, of all that arable land they have bought in Ruddesworth, together with rents from tenants there. Rent a clove.
Two doubled tags, on only the first of which a seal survives, chipped at sides. Oval, horizontal, 25 x 20 mm, greenish wax. A lion passant to the left, head affronte.
