Promise by brother Peter, prior general of the order of the Blessed Mary of Mount Carmel, to Nicholas le Chaundeler, of Stannewelle, and Margery Lovel, his wife, to recite obits for them as for brothers of their own order. In their provincial chapter of Winchester.
Seal, pointed oval, originally about 50 or 60 x 30 or 40 mm, red wax, on doubled tag. Only fragments, at the top and the middle, survive. In the middle the Virgin and Child beneath a Gothic arch or canopy. Above ?Christ and the Virgin, an angel in the sky.
