Indenture of lease, by the Provost and College to Charles Jackson, of St John's College, Oxford, esquire, and Edward Nares Henning, of Shepton Mallet, co. Somerset, clerk, for £283 17s upon surrender of the foregoing lease, of the farm at Poughleyes in Stoke Poges. From old lady day next for 20 years. Rent £3 10s and 144 gallons of wheat and 432 gallons of malt, also two loads of good wheat straw and 12 wether sheep or their money value, each carcase to weigh 44 lbs, together with £19 4s in consideration of the redemption of land tax.

Endorsed with a memorandum that by indenture of 30 April 1849 two parcels of land in Stoke Poges comprised in the premises were conveyed to the Great Western Railway (see ECR 38 142).
